Set a project as a template
You can use any project as a template in order to speed up the creation process.
If you are using a multi-stage project as a template, we recommend that it uses stages without start dates. If a stage has a start date in a template, then that date is used for that stage in the project, regardless of the start date for the project itself. Similarly, if a milestone has a date in a template, then that date is used for that milestone in the project, regardless of the start date of the project.
To set a project as a template:

On the menu bar, click Project > Projects.

On the Projects page, click the project you want to set as a template.

On the project details page, on the Details tab, click Edit

In the Is template field, click

In the Is template dialog, select Yes and click OK.

Next to Template, click Save.
