Watermarking in download orders
Sitecore Content Hub applies watermarks to a download order based on user permissions and the configuration of the watermark. The following table describes the flow of a download order, including how watermarks are applied to it.

You select a mix of assets and click Download. |

Sitecore Content Hub verifies that you have the permissions needed to download the rendition. If you do, Content Hub verifies whether the rendition requires a watermark. |

If no watermark is required, the rendition is downloaded. If a watermark is required, Content Hub applies the watermark configured on the selected rendition or, if none exists, logs an error in the log file. |
