Add content

Add files, fragments, and content items to the Content tab in a basic project or a stage in a multi-stage project when you want to include this content in a task or workflow. To add supporting material that does not go through the project workflow, you can attach content from the Details tab. Standard search and filter functionality is available.

Important

To add content items to projects, you must enable the projects functionality for content.

To add content:

  1. On the menu bar, click Project > Projects.

  2. On the Projects page, do one of the following:

    • For a basic project, click the project to open the project details page.

    • For a multi-stage project, click the project to open the project details page, click the Timeline tab, and then click a stage.

  3. On the Content tab, click + Add, and do one of the following:

    • To upload assets, click + Upload files, and select the files you want to upload or specify the URLs to the files you want to import.

    • To create fragments, click + Fragment, define fragment properties, and click Save.

    • To create content items (such as a blog, recipe, or white paper), click + Content, define content item properties, and click Save.

    • To add an existing content item, click Add existing items, select the items you want to add, and click Add.

Note

When a content item is created through a project, it is automatically assigned the In progress state. The Ready to publish state is assigned once the content item is approved through a task. The new content will not have state flow buttons because approval is task driven.
