1. News items

Create a news item

Note

To configure Content Hub, you must either be a superuser or have the necessary permissions granted to you through user group policies.

To create a news item:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage .

  2. On the Manage page, click News items.

  3. On the News items page, click News item.

  4. In the News items detail page, fill in the following fields:

    Field nameDescription
    TitleMandatory field used to identify the news item.
    TypeDetermines how the news item appears on the page:

    • Home featured displays a single news item.
    • Home carousel displays multiple news items, using a carousel.
    LinkCan contain hyperlinks and images (portal assets or all assets).
    DescriptionCan contain hyperlinks and images (portal assets or all assets) but is used mainly for text input.
    ImageEnter the image name or click to select it from the list.

  5. Click Save.
