Create on-the-fly taxonomy items

The following example describes how to create an item for the Type taxonomy, on-the-fly, from the asset details page.

To create on-the-fly taxonomy items:

1. On the menu bar, click Assets.
2. Click the asset you want.
3. In the Overview section of the asset details page, click Edit .
4. Next to the Type field, click Add .
5. In the Type dialog, click Create new.
6. In the Asset type dialog, fill out the available fields. The Label is mandatory but the other fields vary with the definition of the member.
7. Click Save.
8. Click OK.
9. In the Overview section, click Save.
