Edit a product

You can edit products when you want to update product details, assets, or comments.

To edit a product:

  1. On the menu bar, click Products > Products.

  2. On the Products page, click the product you want to edit to open its details page.

  3. Click Edit to modify information in the following sections as required.

    FieldDefinition
    NameThe product name.
    LabelThe product label to display in the UI.
    NumberThe product number.
    Product familiesThe product family that the product is a part of.
    Short descriptionA brief description of the product.
    Long descriptionA detailed description of the product.
    FieldDefinition
    Product statusThe status of the product.
    Commerce catalogThe commerce catalog you want the product to be associated with.
Note

To see the history of product details, click History .

Tip

You can edit multiple products in a table view by selecting the check box next to each product you want to edit and, on the menu bar, clicking Edit in table .
