Ideation flow
Upon creation, a content item begins as an idea in the New state of the Ideation flow. There are three states in the Ideation flow, as described in the following table.

In this state, you draft your idea to submit for approval. By default, this is the first state of the flow. |
Once you click Submit, your idea moves to the Pending approval state. |

Pending approval |
In this state, your idea is ready for the content administrator to approve for creation. |
If your idea is approved, it moves to the To do state where it is ready for the creation process. If your idea is rejected, it returns to the New state. |

In this state, your idea is ready for the creation process to start. |
Your idea automatically moves to the CMP flow. |
