Allow registration from the login page

In Sitecore Content Hub, as a superuser, you can allow people to register for a user account from your Content Hub login page. Turning on this feature displays a generic registration prompt on the login page, with a link to where people can register for an account.

Important

The user registration page does not exist by default. You must create it before you redirect users to it.

To allow registration from the login page:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage cog icon.

  2. On the Manage page, click Settings.

  3. On the Settings page, select the Authentication setting.

  4. Set the following parameter values:

    URL to use for registration. For example, a redirection to the Google signup page: https://accounts.google.com/signup/v2/webcreateaccount?hl=en&flowName=GlifWebSignIn&flowEntry=SignUp.

    Important

    This property relies on a public endpoint used to create new user accounts. If you enable this property, we recommend you also enable AutoRestrict, avoid using DefaultUserGroups, and enable ReCaptcha.

  5. Click Save.

Change registration prompt

To change the registration prompt:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage cog icon.

  2. On the Manage page, click Translation.

  3. On the Translations page, next to the NoAccount translation, click View detail page .

  4. On the Entity detail page, click Edit .

  5. In the Base template field, enter the desired message.

  6. Click Save.
