Create a job

You can create a job with or without a template. Any job can be used as a template, which simplifies the creation of jobs with identical or similar settings. The content in a job consists of files you upload or fragments you create.

To create a job:

  1. On the menu bar, click Project > Jobs.

  2. On the Jobs page, click Add and select Job.

  3. In the Job dialog, in the Name field, enter a name for the job.

  4. To create another job, select the Create another check box.

  5. Click Save. If you selected the Create another check box, the Job dialog displays where you can create another job. If you are not creating another item, the Jobs page opens.

    When you create another item, some of the fields are prefilled with values you already defined

To create a job using a template:

  1. On the menu bar, click Project > Jobs.

  2. On the Jobs page, click New and select New from template.

  3. In the New from template dialog, next to the Template field, click Add Add icon.

  4. Select the check box next to the template you want to use and click OK.

  5. In the Name field, define a name for the job and click Create.

Upload files

You can upload selected files or import the URLs to the files you want to upload.

To upload files:

  1. On the Jobs page, click the job name to open the job details page.

  2. Click Add and select Upload files.

  3. In the Upload files dialog, do any of the following:

    • To browse for files, on the Upload tab, click Select files, go to the location where the files you want to upload are saved, select them, and click Open.

    • To select files, on the Upload tab, drag the files you want to upload into the Upload files dialog.

    • To import files, on the Import links tab, paste one or more URLs to the files you want to upload. Links to file storage platforms (such as Google Drive and Dropbox) are not supported.

Add fragments

Fragments are useful when you want to reuse text, and you can create them as part of the job.

To add fragments:

  1. On the Jobs page, click the job name.

  2. On the job details page, click Add and select Fragment.

  3. In the Fragment dialog, next to Locale, click Add Add icon and, in the Locale dialog, select the check box next to the locale you want to use and then click OK.

  4. In the Name field, define a name for the fragment.

  5. Use the rich text Content field to define the fragment content, and click Save.
