1. Copy profiles

Create a new copy profile

Note

To configure copy profiles, you must either be a superuser or have the necessary permissions granted to you through user group policies.

To create a new copy profile:

When you create another item, some of the fields are prefilled with values you already defined.

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage .

  2. On the Manage page, click Copy profiles.

  3. On the Copy profiles page, click Copy profile.

  4. In the Copy profile dialog, fill out the following fields:

    FieldDescription
    NameThe name of the copy profile. This name must be unique among copy profiles assigned to the chosen definition.
    DefinitionThe name of the target entity definition, such as M.Content.
  5. To create another copy profile, select the Create another check box.

  6. Click Save. If you selected the Create another check box, the Copy profile dialog displays where you can create another profile. If you are not creating another item, the Copy profiles page opens.

All new copy profiles have default settings that you can modify as needed.
