Enable AI-assisted metadata enrichment

Important

AI capabilities in Content Hub need to be enabled and, if necessary, configured by a superuser or a user with the necessary permissions granted to them through user group policies. Most AI capabilities require Sitecore Stream.

Metadata enrichment helps you to apply accurate, consistent, and context-aware tags to your images. Good image metadata improves the searchability of images and ensures metadata aligns with the needs of your organization.

Before you can add image metadata using AI, the feature must enabled by a superuser and an AI profile needs to be created if you don't want to use the default profile.

When you enable metadata enrichment, the Enrich with AI operation is available on asset details pages from the More actions menu.

To enable metadata enrichment:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage .

  2. On the Manage page, click AI features.

  3. In the left pane, click Metadata enrichment.

  4. In the right pane, click Enable.

Tip

You can trigger the Enrich with AI operation automatically using the tag.with.ai command in the Scripting SDK.
