Configure field-level text generation

IMPORTANT

AI capabilities in Content Hub need to be enabled and, if necessary, configured by a superuser or a user with the necessary permissions granted to them through user group policies.

To use AI-assisted capabilities, you must have a Stream subscription and, for some features, be a Stream Premium user. Contact your Account Manager for more information.

After you configure field-level text generation, you can use AI to create, edit, and enhance text in Content Hub fields. When you select an entity and enable AI on one of its members, the Generate with AI icon is displayed next to the entity definition in the Settings section of the AI features page.

In the following example, AI-assisted content generation has been enabled on a member of the Action entity definition and the Asset entity definition.

Note

You can configure field-level text generation for any entity definition except the Content entity definition where AI-assisted content generation is available by default and cannot be configured.

Tip

To configure alt text for your images using AI, see AI-assisted image alt text generation.

  2. On the Manage page, click AI features.

  5. In the right pane, click Edit definition to add context fields to the entity definition.

  6. In the Edit definition dialog, click Add field and select a context field. Repeat this step to add additional fields and then click Save.

  7. Next to each member for which you want AI field generation available, click the Is enabled switch to turn it on.

  9. On the AI features page, to save the configuration, click Save.
