OneDrive checkouts configurations

The OneDrive integration includes a dedicated Checkouts page and Checkout operation, which can be included on Sitecore Content Hub pages (for example, Assets page).

Showing the Checkouts page

You can display the Checkouts page in the User pages menu. The User pages menu is available under the Profile icon avatar icon:

You can enable the visibility of this page by navigating to the Manage page, which is available via the cog icon icon.

Select the Pages option on the Manage page:

In the pages manager, use the search box to find and select the Checkouts page:

Make sure the Checkouts page you selected has the path of Home User Checkouts. The path is shown at the top of the page.

Click the Info tab on the Checkouts page:

On the editable version of the page, toggle the Appears in menu option to active:

Click Save before leaving the page:

As the Checkouts page is a subpage of the User page, this is the menu under which the page will be displayed. You can check if the page is made available under the User pages menu by clicking on the Profile icon.

Enabling the checkout operation

You can display the Checkout operation on Content Hub pages (for example, the Assets page):

You can enable the visibility of this page by navigating to the Manage page, which is available via the cog icon icon.

Select the Pages option on the Manage page:

In the pages manager, use the search box to find and select the Assets page:

Make sure the Assets page you selected has the path of Home Assets. The path is shown at the top of the page.

On the Assets page, navigate to the selection component:

Toggle the selection component from System-settings-enabled to Custom-settings-enabled:

On the selection component, you can now select the Edit option:

On the details page of the Selection component, select the Operations tab:

Click the Add operation button:

The available operations are displayed. Search for and select the Checkout operation:

The Checkout modal opens, which allows you to chose the Icon, Label, and whether the checkout requires a confirmation. Once you have made your choices, click Save:

The Checkout operation is now included on the Selection component as the last operation in the list. The Checkout operation can be moved by dragging the operation into a new position via the check out icon option. Click on Save and close to finalize the changes.

You can check if the operation has been correctly added by navigating to the Assets page and checking the operations of the selection menu.
