Watermarking

A watermarking is a text or image laid over an asset. You can apply a watermark to any image or PDF asset, helping to prevent its unauthorized use. By default, a watermark includes the name of the asset, the username of the person viewing it, a timestamp for when it was accessed, some custom text, and a background image.

Note

Watermarks are applied to a download order according to the permissions of the person who created the order and the configuration of the watermark itself.

To use watermarks, you must:

The watermarking feature does not support:

  • Original renditions, other than those of images and PDF documents. Other renditions are fully supported, including Preview.

  • Multiple watermarks for a single rendition.

  • Public links.
