Assign project roles

To apply user permissions at the project level, you can assign a project role.

Note

Only a superuser or a project manager can assign project roles or add users and user groups to the role.

To assign project roles:

  1. On the menu bar, click Project > Projects.

  2. On the project details page, click roles icon Roles.

  3. In the project dialog, click Edit.

  4. Do one of the following:

    • Click the Users tab to add individual users to a role.

    • Click the User groups tab to add user groups to a role.

  5. In the section for the role to which you are adding users or groups, click + Add.

  6. In the User or Usergroup dialog, select the check boxes next to the users or groups you want to add to the role, and click OK.

  7. Click Save.

Note

To remove a user or user group from a role, click Remove (X) next to the user or group name.
