Break inheritance
By default, a child project, stage, job, or task inherits its security settings from the parent. You can change this by breaking the inheritance between the parent and the child. In a multi-stage project, each stage is a child and the project is the parent, meaning the stage inherits all the security settings from the parent by default.
Warning
Breaking the inheritance on a child project, stage, job, or task can have many implications. Ensure you understand these implications before you proceed.
