Manage DRM contracts

In Sitecore Content Hub, a digital rights management (DRM) contract – or digital contract – is a collection of usage rights and associated files. You can create new contracts, and edit or delete existing ones. You can also attach any type of supplementary file and add one or several rights profiles to DRM contracts.

Create a contract

To create a contract:

  1. On the menu bar, click DRM > DRM contracts.

  2. On the DRM contracts page, click + Contract.

  3. In the Contract dialog, define the following settings.

  4. Click Save.

Attach files to a contract

You can attach files to a contract such as PDF legal documents, screenshot images, and so on. For example, you can attach a document explaining the reasons for the restrictions on the assets.

To attach files to a contract:

  1. On the menu bar, click DRM > DRM contracts.
  2. On the DRM Contracts page, click the name of the contract you want to change.
  3. On the contract details page, in the Attachments section of the Info tab, click Upload files .
  4. In the Upload files dialog, do one of the following:
    • On the Upload tab, drag files to the Drop files here area, and then click Done.
    • On the Upload tab, click Select files, browse to the files you want, click Open, and then click Done.
    • On the Import links tab, provide the URLs of the files you want to attach, and click Import.

Edit a contract

To edit a contract:

  1. On the menu bar, click DRM > DRM contracts.
  2. On the DRM contracts page, do one of the following:
    • On the contract you want to edit, click Edit Contract , make your changes in the Edit Contract dialog, and click Save.
    • Click the name of the contract to open the details page, click Edit in the Details pane of the Info tab, make your changes, and click Save.

Delete a contract

To delete a contract:

  1. On the menu bar, click DRM > DRM contracts.
  2. On the DRM contracts page, click the name of the contract you want to delete.
  3. On the details page, click Delete contract.
  4. Click OK.
