Use the Background tab to give a page a background image. This only affects the selected page, but you can assign individual background images to as many pages as you want. A background image can be a DAM asset or a portal asset.

To add a background image to a page:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage Manage icon.

  2. On the Manage page, click Pages.

  3. On the Pages page, in the left pane, select the page to which you want to add a background image.

  4. On the Background tab, click Select image.

  5. Do one of the following:

    • To add an asset stored in the Sitecore Content Hub DAM, click the ALL ASSETS tab and select an asset.

    • To add a portal asset, click the PORTAL ASSETS tab and select a portal asset.

  6. From the Size list, select the size of the image you want to use.

  7. Click Insert.

  8. To see what the image looks like, in the top-right corner, click View Page. If the View Page button is unavailable, on the Info tab, turn on the Viewable page switch.


To remove the image, click Remove.
