Create image frames

The Sitecore Content Publisher lets you create an image frame and add alternative images to use in that frame.

In this walkthrough, you create an image frame and set it with an asset from Sitecore Digital Asset Management (DAM).

To create an image frame:

  1. On the menu bar, click Publisher > Templates.

  2. On the Templates page, on the template you want to modify, click edit icon.

  4. On the top toolbar, click Create Frame > Image.

  5. Drag the new empty frame to the desired template area.

  7. In the SELECT IMAGE dialog, select an asset from the Assets category. This asset acts as a placeholder for adding DAM assets.

  8. On the FRAME tab, under Frame Location, enter a tag in the Tag field, for example, Image_alternatives.

  9. Click Save.

  10. Back on the template details page, click more options icon Revalidate template.

  12. In the Dynamic frame dialog, next to Frame, click Image_alternatives in the drop-down menu.

  13. Click Add result set.

  14. Under Result set, click an option in the drop-down menu and then click select. For this walkthrough, choose Asset.

  16. Click Select.

  17. Click Save.
