Display pages on the menu bar

The menu bar in Sitecore Content Hub provides a quick way to access functionality.

Content Hub menu bar
Note

The menu bar only supports one level of submenu.

To display pages on the menu bar:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage cog icon.

  2. On the Manage page, click Pages.

  3. On the Pages page, select the page you want to appear on the menu bar.

  4. Click the Info tab and then click Edit Edit icon.

  5. Turn on the Visible and Appears in menu switches.

  6. Do one of the following:

    • If you want the page to be directly accessible from the menu bar, turn on the Viewable page switch.

    • If you don’t want the page to be directly accessible from the menu bar, but you do want its name to appear there, turn off the Viewable page switch. This is normally done when the page has child pages that you want to appear underneath it in the menu, without making the parent page itself accessible.

  7. Click Save.

Note

For each child page that you want to access under its parent in the menu, turn on the Visible, Appears in menu, and Viewable page switches on that page’s Info tab. The parent page appears on the menu bar but serves only as a drop-down menu for the subpage, and cannot be reached from the menu bar.
