Enable state flows

Note

To configure Content Hub, you must either be a superuser or have the necessary permissions granted to you through user group policies.

To use state flows for a specific type of entity, the state flow functionality must be enabled for that type.

Tip

You can also enable the entity definition from the entity definition configuration page.

To enable state flows:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage cog icon.

  2. On the Manage page, click Schema.

  3. On the Schema page, select the entity for which you want to enable state flow functionality.

  4. In the top right corner of the page, click Actions more options icon and select Enable/Disable.

  5. In the Enable/Disable dialog, click next to a feature to see an explanation of the impact of enabling it on the definition.

  6. Turn on the State flow switch. The Enable for state flow dialog opens.

  7. In the Enable for state flow dialog, fill in the following fields:

    Enable assignees

    Turn on this switch to set the state flows to pre-defined user assignees for state transitions.

    Detail page

    Click plus sign Add to select the destination page for the links in email and real-time notifications. This also determines the links to targets in the target search of a state flow.

    Fields

    Click Add field to select one or several fields that can be updated on each state change. You can search for the field name manually or select it from a list.

  8. Click Yes.
