Enable state flows

Note

To configure Content Hub, you must either be a superuser or have the necessary permissions granted to you through user group policies.

To use state flows for a specific type of entity, the state flow functionality must be enabled for that type.

Tip

You can also enable the entity definition from the entity definition configuration page.

To enable state flows:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage cog icon.

  2. On the Manage page, click Schema.

  3. On the Schema page, in the left pane, select the entity you want.

  4. In the top right corner of the right-hand pane, click Actions more options icon and select Enable/Disable.

  5. In the Enable/Disable dialog, turn on the State flow switch.

  6. In the Enable for state flow dialog, fill in the following fields:

    Field name

    Description

    Mandatory

    Enable assignees

    Set the state flows to pre-defined user assignees for state transitions.

    Detail page

    Specifies the destination page for the links in email and real-time notifications. This also determines the links to targets in the target search of a state flow. Click plus sign Add to enter the page name manually or select it from a list.

    Fields

    Select one or several fields that can be updated on each state change. Click Add field, then search for the field name manually or select it from a list.

  7. Click Yes.
