Info
The Info tab provides a variety of information about the selected page. Click Edit to modify the information.
This tab has two sections:
General
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The page name is defined when you create the page and is independent of the title and path. The name becomes part of the path for accessing a page. For example, a page URL such as http://mydomain.com/pages/en-US/<Name> is always available even when the title and path change. |
| Title | The title appears in the menu and on the page itself. The page title can be different from the page name or path. |
| Path | The page path used in the URL (for example, http://mydomain.com/en-us/<PagePath>/<SubpagePath>). This means, for example, that the page title could be Assets but the path could be store-assets. This would result in a URL of http://mydomain.com/en-us/store-assets. The path is not permanent; if it is changed, the website is no longer accessible using the old pathname. |
| Is title visible | Makes the page title visible on the page. |
| Visible | Makes the page accessible to users with permissions to view it. |
| Appears in sitemap | Makes the page visible in the sitemap. |
| Appears in menu | Makes the page visible in the main menu. |
| Appears in breadcrumbs | Makes the breadcrumb bar, which includes a link to the page, visible. |
| Is template | Makes the page available as a template that can be used when creating other pages. |
| Viewable page | Makes the page viewable in the menu bar. If the page is not viewable, but it has child pages that are viewable, the page will appear in the menu as a placeholder with links to the viewable child pages. |
| Master layout | Determines the page's master layout, which affects its default structure. WARNING: Changing the master layout might cause the loss of page components if the new layout is significantly different to the old one. Lost components cannot be recovered. |
| Aggregate | Binds a detail page with an aggregate entity that uses the same definition. For more details, see aggregates. |
| Homepage | Makes this page a homepage. You can assign custom homepages to users based on their user groups. |
| Backbuttonbehavior | Determines whether to add a navigation button to this page. For more information, see back button behavior. |
| Page-specific theme | Applies a specific theme to this page, overriding the site-wide theme and any personal themes chosen by individual users. |
System properties
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Inherits security | Determines whether the page inherits the security configuration of its parent page. If a page has no parent, this setting cannot be changed. The Inherits security option is enabled by default. If disabled, users must have Read permission to view the page. |
