Selection tab
The Selection tool lets you choose the selection pool in which to store selected items. You can add an existing shared selection pool or create a new one.

Add a Search component to the page.
Configure selection

On the Layout tab, click the page component to open its details page.

In the Tools section, turn on the Selection switch.

Do one of the following:

To use an existing selection pool that is shared between multiple Search components, select the Shared pool option and then, in the list, click the desired pool.

To use an existing selection pool that is unique to this Search component, select the Page-specific option and then, in the list, click the desired pool.

To create a new selection pool, on the Selection tab, in the Selection pool list, click Create new, enter a name for the new pool, and click Save.
